About the General Data Protection Regulation

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will be the new European data protection standard containing 99 new laws. Every organisation processing or transporting personal data have to be compliant with the new laws within the two years of given transition time. Getting compliant involves the need to adapt the business processes, infrastructure, implement tools or change the way of collaboration with suppliers.

Organisations which are not compliant with the GDPR after the two years of the given transition time are risking a fine up to €20.000.000 or 4% of the worldwide annual turnover as well as losing the trust from customers. Customers having to choose between different organizations will always go for the safest one.
